Rebound Fit is a workout on mini trampolines. Adding in some music, low impact moves and heaps of fun makes it the most effective workout on the planet! It’s exercise that everyone can take part in, including those who have learning difficulties or a disability. It’s fun for everyone – including the teachers!
We know how important it is for schools to meet the National Curriculum and evidencing this. Rebound Fit classes meet more of the set targets than any other form of exercise, which then in turn helps pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities.
What we teach:
- Basic movements including running, jumping, throwing and catching using various games and activities
- Develop flexibility, agility, strength, technique, co-ordination control and balance
- Perform dances using a range of movement patterns, compare their performances with previous ones and demonstrate improvement to achieve their personal best.
It should be possible to complete this course in 1 – 2 study hours. The course is divided into a number of Lessons and within each Lesson are Topics. Each Topic will take between 2 – 5 minutes to complete. There are videos as part of your instruction, each of which is between 1 – 2 minutes to watch (unless stated otherwise). You will be able to pause a video, but you will be required to watch the video from start to finish.
At the end of each Lesson there may be a short quiz to test knowledge and understanding. This quiz must be completed, and the required pass mark achieved before progressing to the next lesson.
Once you have completed a Topic or Lesson the “Mark Complete” button will become active and please ensure that you click on this to move to the next topic or lesson.
